Bridges for Smiles, a House of David Ministry, is a humanitarian aid effort by dental health care professionals that serves needy, underprivileged children, one smile at a time. Bridges for Smiles serves Israel and the state of Oklahoma with hopes of expanding to encompass as many of the world’s hurt and needy children as possible.
Bridges for Smiles was founded by Drs. Stan and Audrey Crawford of Grove, Oklahoma with the cooperation of House of David Ministries. Drs. Stan and Audrey Crawford have a vision that all underprivileged children will have their dental needs met in a safe and loving environment. Their passion is to foster confidence and hope in the people and bridge love across cultural gaps.
Currently, one clinic is serving the public in the northern Israeli city of Beit She’an with plans to soon open clinics in the southern city of Sderot. A local dentist and assistant are hired to provide free care to carefully selected pediatric patients. These clinics are entirely supported by donations.
